‘Hi, you got a second?’ he asked, donning an updated version of his green striped polo along with a baseball hat with his signature green crayon on it.
Signaling he’s grown up a bit, Steve donned square glasses and asked everyone: ‘You remember how when we were younger we used to run around and hang out with Blue, and find clues, and talk to Mr. Salt, and freak out about the mail, and do all the fun stuff?;
‘And then one day, I was like, “Oh hey, guess what? Big news… I’m leaving,”‘ he said of his college adventures, which left his brother Joe in charge while Steve went away for ‘like, a really long time.’
‘Can we just talk about that?’ Steve wondered, before admitting his exit was ‘kind of abrupt.’
It turns out the star did actually go to school back then, noting it ‘was really challenging by the way, but great because I got to use my mind and take a step at a time and now I literally am doing many of the things that I wanted to do.’

Growing up: ‘Look at all you have done and all you have accomplished in all that time,’ he told audiences
And in the meantime, he wasn’t the only one who grew, telling viewers: ‘Look at all you have done and all you have accomplished in all that time.’
‘And it’s just… it’s just so amazing, right?’ Steve went on. ‘I mean, we started out with clues and now it’s what? Student loans, and jobs, and families, and some of that has been kind of hard, you know? I know you know.’
Burns’ message then struck a grateful tone, saying: ‘I wanted to tell you that I really couldn’t have done all of that without your help and in fact, all the help that you helped me with when we were younger is still helping me today, right now. And that’s super cool.’

Talking about his time on Blue’s back in 2003, he told Entertainment Weekly: ‘I’m really protective of the show and the new guy [Donovan Patton].’
‘But the nice thing is now I get to bust that character out whenever I want to. It’s kind of like being Clark Kent.’
