Richmond Tigers coach Damien Hardwick and girlfriend Alexandra Crow have started renovations on their newly-purchased $2.3 million home.
The couple have also started an Instagram page to update fans on the old property’s transformation into a chic family home.
‘This beauty was built in 1880 in beautiful Elwood. She’s bruised but not broken,’ one of their Instagram posts read.

‘Converted into two apartments, both two bedroom and one bath – top and bottom with an external staircase.’
The post went on to reveal the couple’s short and long term goals for the renovation process.
‘The short term plan is to give her a spruce up both internally and externally and utilise her flexibility. Long term plan…convert her back to one, honouring her heritage and original features whilst moulding her modern,’ they wrote.

The couple purchased the house for $2.3 million in the Melbourne suburb of Elwood in June.
The home features four bedrooms and two bathrooms with spacious open living and dining areas.

The two separate residences are split into a ground floor residence and first floor one.

Owners are met with an Alfresco timber deck, backyard with a wide nature backdrop and remote garage parking with space for two vehicles.

The Tigers coach and his ex-wife share three kids together.
Crow was previously in a relationship with Carlton Football Club executive Daniel Giese, with whom she owned a $1.2 million dollar home in Ascot Vale.
