Kim Kardashian cries over the ending of Keeping Up With The Kardashians in new sneak peek

Kim Kardashian got emotional over the ending of the reality television show that made her and her family famous.

The 40-year-old star was seen getting choked up while talking about calling it quits on the hit series in a new sneak peek for the twentieth – and final – season, currently airing on E!

‘It was just the hardest conversation that we’ve ever had to have,’ she said in a confessional about having to tell their crew that the family was pulling the plug on the program.

Choked up: Kim Kardashian, 40, got choked up while talking about calling it quits on the hit series in a new sneak peek for the twentieth – and final – season, currently airing on E!

A sobbing Kim broke the news to her shocked good friend Simon Huck over FaceTime: ‘We ended Keeping Up With the Kardashians.’

In typical Kardashian fashion, not a stitch of her perfectly done make-up was harmed amid the waterworks.

Neither were her incredibly long lashes.

Family matriarch Kris Jenner, 65, started off the clip calling attention to the major life change: ‘We all have to be on the same page, because it’s a huge decision.’

Her full face of makeup, including a bright red lip, were on display as she spoke to the entirely masked crew, who were following the Covid-19 safety regulations for current productions.

A stoic Kourtney was also in the scene wearing a matching blue hoodie and t-shirt set. She kept sunglasses on to hide any tears amid her more natural makeup.

‘I feel just like exhausted,’  Khloé added as she emotionally hugged a friend in one shot.

It’s Kris who looked to be taking the news the hardest as she discussed the fact that she’s also helping her mom  M.J. Campbell, 86, sell her home.

‘Not only did we decide to end the show, but we sold my mom’s house, too,’ she said in the video as crew members are seen packing a suitcase.

It then cut to Khloé calling her mom and asking if she’s ‘crying again.’

‘It’s just hard to think about the end,’ Kris responded as she shared a tear-filled meal with Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards.

‘So many things are ending,’ the manager added, ‘And I just keep asking myself, did we make the right decision?’

The stars announced in September 2020 that this would be final season of the show, which first premiered in 2007.

The documentary-style series was co-created by Ryan Seacrest and catapulted the entire family to fame.

‘It is with heavy hearts that we’ve made the difficult decision as a family to say goodbye to Keeping Up with the Kardashians,’ read their lengthy statement at the time of the announcement.

‘After what will be 14 years, 20 seasons, hundreds of episodes and numerous spin-off shows, we are beyond grateful to all of you who’ve watched us for all of these years — through the good times, the bad times, the happiness, the tears, and the many relationships and children. We’ll forever cherish the wonderful memories and countless people we’ve met along the way,’ it said.

Kim was similarly teary in the first trailer for the current set of episodes, writing in a Tweet in January: ‘I wouldn’t leave you without some seriously ugly cry faces on our final 20th season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.’

Though KUWTK will be coming to an end, that certainly doesn’t mean the end of the Kardashians dynasty, with the family recently signing a massive global content deal with Hulu.
