Premier League season ticket prices as Arsenal revealed to be side charging most
Experts looking at average local wages estimated West Ham fans would have to work four days to afford the ticket, while fans of the Gunners would have to work nine

Some football fans eagerly awaiting a full season of going to matches face paying far more than others.
After England’s Euros success and games played to empty stadiums because of Covid curbs, there is a huge appetite to get back to grounds.
But buying a season ticket for home matches at a Premier League club is a bit of a lottery when it comes to price.
Arsenal, whose young star Bukayo Saka impressed for England in the summer, are charging the most.
The cheapest season ticket for the Emirates Stadium in North London is £891.
By comparison, at Arsenal’s East London rivals West Ham – who finished sixth, two places above Saka’s team in May – a season ticket is £320, £571 less.

The Hammers top the table as the best value for money club to watch live. In second place, according to website Compare.bet, are current Prem champions Manchester City.
They have spent £100million, a British record, on buying Jack Grealish from Aston Villa but have not passed on the cost to fans.
A season ticket to the Etihad Stadium costs £325. Leeds Utd are third at £349 and Leicester City fourth at £365.
Tottenham, Liverpool and Chelsea are among the most expensive with fans having to find between £595-£807 to cheer their side on from the stands.

A spokesman for Compare.bet said that: “After another season of watching Premier League games behind closed doors, fans from every club are waiting to return to their stadiums to experience the game where it belongs.”
Another study, by online casino brand Casumo, found Wembley Stadium has been named the most iconic in the world by TikTok users.
It saw off Barcelona ’s Camp Nou in second spot, followed by Liverpool’s Anfield and Manchester Utd’s Old Trafford.
