Custody: Michael Lockwood will reportedly get full custody of his and Lisa Marie Presley’s twins following her tragic death
Now, it has been claimed that Michael is set to get full custody of their twins after Finley and Harper reportedly said they want to live with him full time following their mother’s death.
Sources told TMZ that the teenagers have been living with Michael since Lisa Marie’s death, after the musician already shared joint custody with her.
The publication claimed that there was discussion that Lisa Marie’s ex Danny Keough might attempt to get custody after moving back into her home to support her full-time.
However, under California law, Michael would only have been denied full custody if there were findings of unfitness of his part as he already shared custody, it was reported.

Danny, 58, is Lisa Marie’s first husband and they share a daughter Riley, 33, together. They also had a son Benjamin, who tragically took his own life at the age of 27 in 2020.
Michael will also reportedly be going to Graceland for a private service for close friends and family before Lisa Marie’s public funeral on Sunday.
MailOnline has contacted Michael’s representatives for comment.
Michael, who was Lisa Marie’s fourth husband, is married to Beauty Beach Lounge hairstylist Stephanie Hobgood and they live in an estate estimated to be worth $800,000 in Thousand Oaks, according to Zillow.

Following Lisa Marie’s death, Michael said that his world had been ‘turned on its ear’ and that he was with twins Finley and Harper.
In a statement by his lawyer Joe Yanny, obtained by Entertainment Tonight, he said: ‘Michael had been hoping for a speedy and complete recovery because her children needed her.
‘It is very sad it didn’t turn out that way. Michael’s world has been turned on its ear, he is with both of his daughters now.’
Yanny added that Michael’s prayers were with Priscilla Presley and the rest of the Presley family.

Michael and Lisa Marie, who is Elvis’ only child, spent years fighting about finances and were still negotiating up until her death.
Michael lost his 2016 bid in their divorce to undo their prenup, but he re-opened the case in 2021.
Before her death, they were understood to have shared custody of their children 50/50, with Michael taking care of them with his new wife, and Lisa Marie paying $4,600 in child support to the guitarist a month.
However, Radar reported that they had recently reached a settlement where she would pay him $6,000 a month.

In a recent court filing, Michel claimed his ongoing legal battle with Lisa Marie over their split had cost him more than a million dollars in legal fees and that he was considering bankruptcy.
He was seeking $40,000 a month in child support and insisted she had more money than she claimed in court documents.
The final settlement was not made public, but days after the agreement, Michael remarried as he tied the knot with Stephanie Hobgood.
Last year, he had taken Lisa Marie to court claiming she had money coming in from a $1million advance for a book, funds from the Golden Globe-winning Elvis film and a trust he believed Lisa Marie controlled.
He also claimed Lisa Marie still had a stake in Graceland, as well as a hotel owned on the property.
Amid the divorce proceedings with Michael, she temporarily lost custody of her twin daughters, who went to live with her mother Priscilla.
In a 2017 deposition, a year after the acrimonious split, she admitted to abusing cocaine, opioids, painkillers and alcohol.
That same year, shortly after the couple announced their separation, Lisa Marie falsely accused him of being a pedophile.
The heiress said in a court filing at the time: ‘I was shocked and horrified and sick to my stomach.’

The allegations were investigated and no charges were brought. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation looked into the issue but did not deem the actions criminal.
The agency’s public information officer said at the time: ‘Barring any new potential evidence or information, we have concluded our involvement in this matter. We have not been able to determine a crime occurred in Tennessee and accordingly do not have an open investigation.’
Michael’s lawyer said that Lisa Marie’s statements were ‘inaccurate and one-sided’.
After their split, Lisa Marie begged a judge to ‘declare her officially single’ from her estranged husband after five years of separation from Michael – who refused to divorce.
She said that there was ‘no hope’ for the couple to reconcile and wanted to ‘move forward’ with her life. The couple were embroiled in a bitter divorce for more than five years.
Before Michael, Lisa Marie was married to actor Danny Keough, Michael Jackson and Nicolas Cage.
Lisa Marie died last Thursday after suffering a cardiac arrest at the $4million Calabasas home she shared with first husband Danny Keough.
It was reported that her twins Finley and Harper and her daughter Riley Keough, 33, are refusing to return there because they are so traumatised by her death.
A funeral service is due to take place on Sunday at Graceland, Elvis Presley’s estate in Memphis, Tennessee. She was buried in the grounds next to her son Benjamin – who committed suicide in 2020 – on Thursday.
