Oi, Boris, sort it ahht!
Watch out, Boris! Hollywood hard man Ray Winstone has hit out at the Government after being forced to pay hundreds for Covid tests in England while the same abroad are free.
‘Me and my wife had to fly to Sicily on a bit of business. We had to get fit-to-fly Covid tests, which cost £149 each,’ says the 64-year-old.
‘We were tested at Palermo airport — it was free. After five days in isolation, we were tested in Bivona and Sicily, and that was free.’
In a rant online, the Sexy Beast star adds: ‘When we’re leaving Palermo, we have to have two tests when we get home — at £149 each. Can someone tell me why the f*** we’re paying for this?
‘It’s like another tax. The Government tell us on May 17 people can go on holiday again . . . How can a normal family of four afford a holiday, then two grand on top for the tests?
‘I’ve been supportive of the powers-that-be until now, but this needs to be looked at.’

Despite being awarded a CBE for services to music, The Who lead singer Roger Daltrey insists he has no interest in an upgrade.
‘That’s the trouble — because I’m a CBE, everyone says: ‘When are you going to get a knighthood?’ says Daltrey, 77.
‘I don’t know whether I want one. It’s not like they’re important to you.’
How very rock ‘n’ roll.
Norton has his latest role licked
Actor James Norton admits he enjoyed playing a posh playboy in a new TV series, The Nevers
Actor James Norton, often tipped as the next 007, admits he enjoyed playing a posh playboy in a new TV series, The Nevers, which includes a scene where he licks a woman’s foot.
‘They cut the bit where I really went for the toes. Sadly, they thought it was too much,’ says Norton, 35.
The series, on Sky Atlantic from Monday, is set in 1890s Victorian London. He plays Hugo Swann, the proprietor of a sex club, and adds: ‘I find it seductive because I’m British and therefore am probably quite repressed.
‘There’s a lot of life where I wish I was far more charismatic and just lived with abandon like Hugo does. It’s fun to walk on to a set and get a taste of it.’
Lord Sugar was flummoxed while presenting the new series of Celebrity Apprentice in Australia.

‘So that was a kind of advantage to me. I told them: ”I don’t give a damn who you are. For me you don’t mean anything.” I said to them: ”You could be the best singer on God’s earth but it does not mean anything to me mate. Sorry.” ‘
