D.L. Hughley slams Pete Davidson for ‘antagonizing’ Kanye West with tattoo of ‘KNSCP’

D.L. Hughley appears to be moving past his feud with Kanye West to side with the rapper after Kim Kardashian‘s beau Pete Davidson tattooed the initials KNSCP on his neck for Kim, North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm.

Hughley, 59, who recently traded barbed comments with West, told TMZ that the ink was ‘antagonizing’ and if he were in Ye’s position: ‘That would p**s me off.’

Back in March, West, 44, wrote a menacing social media post stating that he could find Hughley’s address and could ‘afford to hurt’ him after the actor commented on the mogul’s mental health. 

‘I think it’s his body, it’s his woman, [but] those are Kanye [West’s] kids. That would p**s me off,’ D.L. told TMZ went asked about Pete’s questionable new ink. 

‘The father’s alive, he’s a good father, he’s taking care of these kids. I don’t understand [what] that’s all about,’ he added. ‘It’s none of my business, but if you tattoo my kids’ name on your neck, I’d have something to say about it.’

Kim’s boyfriend Pete Davidson showed off a small tattoo just above the neckline of his white t-shirt last week.

It read KNSCP which seems to be for Kim Kardashian and her kids North, eight, Saint, six, Chicago, four, and Psalm, two, that she shares with ex-husband Kanye West.

‘I think it’s his body, it’s his woman, [but] those are Kanye [West’s] kids. That would p**s me off,’ D.L. told TMZ went asked about Pete’s questionable new ink. 

‘Listen, nobody’s telling you you can’t live your life. If that’s your woman, you have a good time. But if you put that man’s kids on your neck, that’s antagonizing. That’s out of pocket for me,’ D.L. mused about the tattoo.

‘[West] ain’t an absentee father. He’s a good father,’ he continued. ‘And you know the stuff that’s going on. You already know that it’s a volatile situation. Do you think that’s going to help?

Hughley isn’t alone in his criticism of Pete’s choice considering the SNL star has only dated the reality TV siren, 41, for only seven months. Not to mention how Kanye West has repeatedly harassed him and Kim over the romance.

People took to Twitter to express their shock over the new ink. Most of the remarks were not very flattering. 

‘The father’s alive, he’s a good father, he’s taking care of these kids. I don’t understand [what] that’s all about,’ he added. ‘It’s none of my business, but if you tattoo my kids’ name on your neck, I’d have something to say about it.’ (seen in 2019)

Tin seemed to think that the comedian’s tattoo choice was strange. He added it was ‘mad weird.’  And Cole Filer said that it is odd to get a tattoo for a girl seven months in. 

DeAnn did not seem pleased with the tat and said Pete was a ‘weirdo.’ 

Another said: ‘I’m starting to believe Pete enjoys poking at Kanye!’ while a fan joked, ‘I’ll be waiting for Kanye’s rant about this shortly.’

And another tweeter then said: ‘If this is true in regards to that new tattoo, it’s saying more about Pete & Kim than it does Kanye. That’s for sure. Let’s hope that Kanye stay strong, stay cool, & stay focus. As long as those children is good & safe; that’s all that should matter in my opinion.’

Neither Davidson nor Kardashian have confirmed that’s what the tattoo stands for yet. This would not be the first time the Saturday Night Live star has gotten a tattoo honoring Kardashian though. 

He has ‘My Girl Is A Lawyer’ tattooed on his body in honor of the People’s Choice Award winner. 

Hughley’s admonishment of Pete and defense of Ye as a good father flies in this face of their recent public spat.  

The rapper had previously threatened the TV star in a since deleted social media post and said he could easily find out where he lived. 

‘DL Hughley is a pawn Yeah I know a king not supposed to address a pawn but I address everything and find addresses DL So don’t speak on me or my children I can afford to hurt u,’ Kanye wrote.

‘Listen, nobody’s telling you you can’t live your life. If that’s your woman, you have a good time. But if you put that man’s kids on your neck, that’s antagonizing. That’s out of pocket for me,’ D.L. mused about the tattoo. 

In a subsequent post — which he also deleted — West posted a video of Hughley collapsing on stage during a stand-up set in June 2020, after he had come down with Covid-19.

‘We gone stop letting practicing drug addicts be used by leftist to Willie Lynch our Future Black people with our own opinion are not allowed to speak in public,’ the producer wrote.

‘I am the glitch DL God does not like you You have no favor Your family hates you I would hate to be related to somebody who used to be famous Now you just known as a broke pawn at least Oprah got billions “allegedly” Come on leftist Y’all gotta do better than DL This Ye Bring the real smoke baby,’ he continued.

The tirade was in response to comments the comic and political commentator had made in Kardashian’s defense amid her ongoing divorce from West. 

‘I think that I’ve watched too many times when things like that happened and a woman or somebody is not believed. And then things escalate,’ he told VladTV. ‘He is stalking her. You can think it’s cute. If it was my daughter, I’d do something about it. I don’t think it’s funny.

‘I think that you can’t write a beat so good that you get to do these things,’ he continued. ‘And society laughs it off because they say, “Well, she’s showing her a** all the time and he’s this and he’s that.”‘

During a Fanroom Live session with Chanel Omari from August 2020, which was in the midst of the rapper’s doomed presidential campaign, he said West uses his mental health issues as a excuse when it can benefit him.

‘He’s not so mentally ill that he’ll talk about any other group of people,’ Hughley said. ‘He talks about people that he knows he can get away with, and then he’s not so ill that he’s trying to be a disruptor in the political form. He’s not so ill that he takes $5 million in PPP payments, so he seems to be conveniently ill when it serves his purpose.’

Hughely shot back at Kanye after the threat suggesting that he ‘pick up his Xanax’.

In his follow-up Instagram post, he added, ‘You can tell when people surround themselves with real ones. REAL ONES in your corner would NEVER allow you to threaten a man or his family, especially in a public forum. Mental health is no joke… neither is the safety of a man’s home and family. #TeamDL #KingS***.’

Hughley continued his Twitter tirade against the Monster rapper: ‘Ain’t no way in hell I’d ever be scared of a dude who wears #IKnowWhatDidLastSummerBoots [sic]!!!’ he wrote, referencing the bulky black rain boots that West has lately been a fan of.

He took up the taunting another not by bringing West’s ex Kim Kardashian’s new boyfriend Pete Davidson into the mix.

‘#Kanye!! It’s just too bad that you acting like a nut won’t stop #Pete from bustin one!!,’ he crassly joked.

Meanwhile, Davidson and Kardashian are getting more serious and made their red carpet debut at the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner over the weekend. 

Kardashian dazzled in a rhinestone-covered Balenciaga gown that clung to her famous curves as her much younger beau looked suave in a classic black Prada suit styled with a white dress shirt and a skinny black tie.

They followed up that event with a show-stopping appearance at The Met Gala in New York Monday night.
