A mum-of-one has shared her clever trick to make sure her toddler eats eggs for breakfast.
Rather than scrambling, boiling, frying or poaching the eggs, mum Alexandra first froze the eggs overnight then removed the shell.
The eggs were then sliced and fried to create ‘cool miniature eggs’ for her daughter to enjoy.
Alexandra shared the insight in a TikTok video alongside the caption ‘every parent needs to try this!’

Mum Alexandra froze the eggs overnight then removed the shell, sliced and fried the eggs on a high heat. This created miniature egg slices her daughter enjoys eating.
While the frozen raw eggs look unusual once removed from the shell, the end result creates tiny disc-like shapes that are easy for toddlers to consume.
Since posting the short video it has since gone viral and been viewed more than 3.1 million times.
The idea was praised and dubbed to be ‘genius’ by other parents on TikTok who wondered why they haven’t heard of the tactic before.
‘Okay I need to try this,’ one person wrote, another said: ‘So clever!’
Despite the positive comments, some were concerned and wondered whether freezing eggs is safe.
According to Healthline, freezing raw eggs in the shells isn’t recommended by health professionals as it can tamper with the texture and lead to the growth of certain bacteria.
But if done so, the raw eggs should be cooked instantly at a high temperature of 70 degrees Celsius.
