BREAKING NEWS: Small plane crashes off New Jersey coast with ‘three people on board’ as police scour the water on jet skis
A small plane has crashed just off the coast of New Jersey.
The incident occurred at about 11.30am about one mile into the water off Long Beach Island.
There are reports that three people were on board at the time and they are currently in the water.
It is not clear if they are injured.
Live helicopter footage from ABC7 shows police on jet skis scouring the area.
There are several US Coast Guard boats also responding.
