Fired NFL coach Urban Meyer joined former President Donald Trump at his annual Super Bowl party on Sunday night, where guests at his West Palm Beach golf club dined on a game day menu of wings, hot dogs and burgers.
An attendee said Trump’s lawyer Rudy Giuliani was also present but that New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick, seen earlier in the weekend at the former president’s nearby Mar-a-Lago resort, was not spotted.
Also missing was former first lady Melania Trump, who is rarely seen at the golf club.
The guest told DailyMail.com said Trump looked in his element as he talked football with Meyer, who lost his job with the Jacksonville Jaguars even before their disastrous season ended.
‘He was happy. In a great mood,’ said the guest. ‘It was a lot of fun.’
Guests were served by staff dressed in striped referee uniforms as the Los Angeles Rams defeated the Cincinnati Bengals on big screens.

The party rounded off a busy weekend at Trump’s political headquarters in Florida.
On Friday, Mar-a-Lago hosted a fundraiser for Harriet Hageman, who is challenging Rep. Liz Cheney for the Republican nomination in her Wyoming district.
And pictures posted to social media showed both Belichick and Meyer preparing for a night out at the Palm Beach club.
Details emerged on the same day that an excerpt from a new book revealed the ups and downs of the relationship between Trump and Belichick.
‘This Will Not Pass’ will be published by Simon & Schuster on May 3, 2022
Trump told the authors of ‘This Will Not Pass: Trump, Biden, and the Battle for America’s Future’ that the coach’s refusal to accept the Medal of Freedom after the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol irritated him.
Trump felt Belichick had ‘chickened out,’ he told Jonathan Martin and Alexander Burns, when he became only one of four people in history to decline the honor.
‘One of the rejections that had bothered him the most had come from Bill Belichick, the legendary coach of the New England Patriots who had declined Trump’s attempt to grant him the Presidential Medal of Freedom,’ they write in an excerpt published by Yahoo Sports.
‘In the immediate aftermath of the riot, it was just not possible for him to appear with Trump.
‘Back then, Trump said, Belichick had ‘chickened out.’
‘But get this, Trump confided: The coach had just a week earlier been playing golf at Trump’s nearby course. Trump had run into him there on the second-to-last hole.
‘”He came up to me on the seventeenth,” the former commander-in-chief recounted with relish.
‘Stretching credulity for anyone familiar with Belichick’s gruff persona, Trump claimed: “He hugged me and kissed me.”‘
The coach famously sent Trump a letter of endorsement ahead of the 2016 election.
Belichick presented Trump with a Patriots helmet at the White House in 2017 during a ceremony to honor their LI Super Bowl victory. But Trump was upset when the coach turned down the Presidential Medal of Freedom in the wake of last year’s Jan. 6 violence
Meyer was fired as head coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars in December after a poor season
‘Congratulations on a tremendous campaign. You have dealt with an unbelievable slanted and negative media, and have come out beautifully – beautifully,’ the letter said, according to Trump.
‘You’ve proved to be the ultimate competitor and fighter. Your leadership is amazing.
‘I have always had tremendous respect for you, but the toughness and perseverance you have displayed over the past year is remarkable.
‘Hopefully tomorrow’s election results will give the opportunity to make America great again. Best wishes for great results tomorrow.’
Meyer was fired in December, when his Jaguars team had a 2-11 record.
His success as a college coach did not translate into NFL success. Worse, he apologized to the team after video emerged of him with a woman who was not his wife at his Ohio restaurant.
